Course Description
“Clinical Pilates” seminar is addressed to Pilates instructors and exercise professionals that wish to enhance their knowledge, techniques and exercises of the Pilates method directed in a therapeutic approach.
The Pilates method was created and taught by Joseph Pilates in order to heal and restore the function of injured limbs and joints to the maximum possible levels. The method became so popular due to it’s beneficial and healing properties, that exercises were not only used by a large number of instructors and trainees, but further developed and spread throughout the world, evolving into multiple approaches including the “therapeutic” aspect of Pilates”. Clinical Pilates is the ideal combination of a gentle, yet effective form of exercise, for people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, autoimmune and metabolic diseases, as well as other health related issues.
